There is a reason that the wallet gives you big red warnings telling you you MUST write down your passphrase, and that the wallet makes you click a box to confirm that you have written down the 12-word passphrase… because, if you lose your 12-word passphrase you lose access to your funds.

The “License agreement” window just means that this is the first time your using counterwallet on this computer (the license agreement consent is saved in a cookie once you click ok, so if you remove this cookie, you will get the prompt again, which is what is most likely happening here)

You might want to try your quick-access URL again… wait a few minutes to see if it works/loads… if not, reload the page and try again. It could be that counterwallet is taking a while to lookup the transaction history for the address… reloading the page after a few minutes could work as the transaction history data could be cached at that point.

If you had written down your 12-word passphrase as requested, you would be able to easily take that 12-word passphrase to any Counterparty compatible wallet (like freewallet.io) and import it and have access to your funds.

TL;DR… following big red instructions saying “WRITE THIS DOWN” is probably a good idea in the future.

Shouldn’t the quick access link work on any server?

I am not familiar with the quick-link, so I can’t say for sure… I always use the 12-word passphrase.

Thank you for the response.
I think I took 12-word passphrase in analogue in paper note but currently I’m away from my home country and no way to check it.

You might want to try your quick-access URL again… wait a few minutes to see if it works/loads… if not, reload the page and try again.

When I reload the page the blank space message turns out ‘Enter your 12 word passphrase’ so Quick Access password is not accepted.

So there’s no way to open the wallet by Quick Access password?

Maybe if you can change the quick-access URL to point to a different server instead of wallet.counterwallet.io change it to counterwallet.coindaddy.io or vice versa

I can confirm I also see the loading bar forever using quick access password on https://wallet.counterwallet.io/

But it is working on https://counterwallet.coindaddy.io

Did you change your quick access url first part to coindaddy?

Thank you for the reply.
Oddly my Quick Access password works and appears on https://wallet.counterwallet.io/

but on CoinDaddy Quick Access page you posted the wallet button didn’t turn out green when I input Quick Access Password.

It is working now? That’s good. I guess they did server updates which make this issues. The servers also run different software releases somtimes.
