Lost wallet seed, need to return crypto that was deposited into said wallet

#1

I’ve lost a wallet seed that I wrote down and I was wondering if there is anyway to regain access to the wallet? It was sent to me by someone claiming to work for the company that developed the coin but come to find out he wasn’t supposed to be sending said coin out and the company released a news release stating that any coins gained this way were considered stolen. I’m trying to avoid legal trouble because of this, any advice?

If you do not have the passphrase anymore it is not possible to access the wallet. But if you have the private keys for your counterwallet address? Then you could import it into another new counterwallet.
